I had my placement with Deacons in June 2019 as a vacation student attached to the Commercial Litigation practice group. I was tasked with a multitude of responsibilities, which all served as invaluable opportunities for the honing of my legal skills. The fact that I was immersed in the daily operation of the practice group as a team member also painted a realistic picture of how life as a lawyer at Deacons would be like. Outside of work, new friends were made and we never lacked the chance to know more about the people around us.
