Banking & Finance Lawyer

To be part of our award winning Corporate Finance Practice Group to provide advice on a broad range of banking and finance matters to our clients.

Responsibilities

As a senior member of the team, you will work closely with our lawyers with extensive industry experience in banking and finance work. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• taking a leading role in advising banks, financial institutions and corporations on all aspects of a full spectrum of domestic and cross-border financing transactions, including bilateral and syndicated loans, real estate finance, acquisition and privatisation finance, and green and sustainable finance
• taking a leading role in advising banks, financial institutions and FinTech companies on compliance with banking and financial services laws and regulations
• developing and managing client relationships
• supervising and training junior members of the team

Requirements

• Qualified in Hong Kong with at least 8 years’ post qualification experience in the banking and finance practice
• Solid knowledge and understanding about the banking and finance services, with proven track record in handling complex financing transactions
• Ability to work well individually and as a team leader with strong communication skills and a high level of commercial awareness
• A motivated, proactive and dynamic lawyer who has strong ability in building and maintaining client relationships
• Excellent level of both written and spoken English and Chinese, ability to read simplified Chinese and speak fluent Putonghua as well as Cantonese
