At Deacons, our Vacation Student Programme connects well with our Trainee Programme. Most of our trainees first joined us as vacation students. During your internship with us, you will get to know our diverse range of practices and experience a variety of work, through which you will have a chance to explore your interests and learn from our colleagues.
Start your career with scholarship rewards and work experience. The Deacons Prize in Law for Young Leaders is the entry ticket to the firm’s “Jump Start Programme” designed to identify exceptional university students at an early stage. The programme will give you a head start before the Vacation Student Programme.
The Early Insights Programme helps secondary school students who are interested in pursuing a career in the legal profession. The Programme aims to offer an exclusive opportunity for secondary school students to develop an initial understanding of legal studies and cultivate an early aspiration towards a career in the legal industry.
We run many events annually, covering a mix of talks, panels and open days to give you the chance to meet and talk to our people face-to-face or online. You will be able to attend presentations on topics about the application process, the firm’s culture, key challenges for the firm and find out more about our lawyers. There are many ways to connect.
