Conveyancing Secretary

A career in our Property Department will provide you with the opportunity to contribute high quality services to a wide spectrum of real estate matters for Hong Kong and international clients such as major property developers, renowned local and international banking and financial institutions, private and listed companies.

Responsibilities

As a Conveyancing Secretary, you will work as part of a team of lawyers and conveyancing personnel with extensive industry experience. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Handling clients’ inquiries and preparing legal documentation
  • Provide support to fee earners in administrative and secretarial matters
  • Maintain and manage fee earner schedules and act as the key contact point for meetings
  • Work effectively with other practice groups and business services departments
  • Maintain and organise database and resources, documents and files
  • Perform other secretarial work and general support tasks as requested

Requirements

  • Experience in handling conveyancing matters, secondary market transactions or experience in handling first-hand project sales transactions is preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good command in both English and Chinese languages
  • Good computer skills; well versed in MS Word and Excel
  • Meticulous and conscientious, organised and self-motivated
  • Willing to work overtime when required
