Translator – Corporate Finance Practice

Job Description

A career in our Corporate Finance Practice Group will provide you with the opportunity to assist our team of highly professional and experienced lawyers who cover an extensive range of legal and commercial services to local and international corporations.  Applications for a part-time position will also be considered.

Responsibilities

As a Translator you will work as part of a team of lawyers with extensive industry experience.  Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Translating legal documents from English to Chinese and vice versa
• Translating complex legal documents including corporate and financial documents

Requirements

• Hold a tertiary-level degree in translation or languages
• Strong language skills and able to produce high quality translation work from English to Chinese and vice versa
• Have solid experience in translating legal documents from English to Chinese and vice versa
• Experience in China related work is definitely an advantage
• Able to work independently
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
