Funds Lawyer

Responsibilities

As a funds lawyer, you will work as part of a market leading and collegiate practice group.  Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Advising on fund structures and assisting in the establishment of public and private funds
• Advising clients on regulatory issues and market practice in relation to fund formation, fund maintenance and licensing requirements

Requirements:

• Solicitors from both Hong Kong and overseas jurisdictions with at least 1 year of post qualification experience are welcome; experience in Hong Kong / Asian markets would be an advantage
• Excellent academic record and a sound training to international standards with large local law firms or well-established international law firms
• Excellent level of spoken and written English.  Chinese is essential and Mandarin would be an advantage
• A motivated, proactive and dynamic individual who has the ability to build and maintain a trusting client relationships
• A good team player and has the ability to support the development of junior colleagues
• A client service driven approach to work
• Applicants with a commercial or corporate finance background, wishing to make a career change, would also be considered
