Team Coordinator – Commercial Litigation

Job Description

This position provides you with the opportunity to provide proactive practice support and quality administration support to the lawyers of the Commercial Litigation Practice in delivering world-class legal advice to leading businesses and clients.  Our team comprises highly professional and experienced Commercial Litigation lawyers and paralegals.  There is prospect of career development for the right talent.


As a Team Coordinator, you will work closely with the Leader of our Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice and as part of a big team of lawyers and business services staff with extensive industry experience.  Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide a responsive and professional support to the leader of the practice, including dealing with administrative task
  • Assist in managing team members of the practice group, including secretaries, paralegals and clerks
  • Work collaboratively with team members on client files recording, work in progress (WIP) and debt management, bills drafting
  • Assist in marketing initiatives in a proactive manner
  • Assist in client relationship management, including keeping records of correspondence in client files and provide administrative support in servicing clients
  • Provide secretarial / administrative support to other lawyers as needed
  • Work closely with business units, i.e., Human Resources, Business Development, IS and Administration, to recommend efficient workflow procedures


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Positive working attitude and excellent work ethic
  • Self-motivated personality and ability to adapt and learn new skills and ideas effectively
  • A proactive individual with strong collaboration and relationship-building skills to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated strong sense of responsibility and exceptional organisational skills in a dynamic environment to meet deadlines and daily requirements
  • Understanding of or experience working in law firm or professional services firm would be an advantage but not a must
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to work online
