Legal Assistant, Insurance Litigation

This position provides you with the opportunity to provide administrative and legal support to the lawyers of our practice acting principally for insurers and big corporations.


As a Legal Assistant, you will work as part of a team of our partners, associates, and other fee earners to perform all duties of secretarial, administrative and legal nature. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide support to fee earners in secretarial, administrative and legal matters
  • Maintain and manage fee earner schedules and act as the key contact point for meetings         
  • Liaise with internal & external parties and assist in editing legal documents and preparing court proceedings, documentation and bundles
  • Draft simple correspondence and documents
  • Perform proofreading and translation work   
  • Handle time entry, month end billing and narratives
  • Maintain and organise database and resources, documents and file


  • Minimum 2 years of experience in legal, secretarial or administrative support role is preferred. Fresh university graduates of any disciplines or holders of diploma in law will also be considered
  • Experience in handling motor claims an advantage
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with strong document formatting skills
  • Attention to detail, organised and self-motivated
  • An exceptional team player with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
