Intellectual Property Lawyer

Responsibilities

As an Associate, you will work as part of a team of lawyers with extensive industry experience, helping clients solve complex legal issues with a practical business perspective.  Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Handling a wide range of IP commercial (including but not limited to in client projects relating to technology transfer, merger and acquisition, metaverse, licensing, telecommunications, distribution, franchising, regulatory compliance, etc.), IP litigation in all areas of IP including trademark, passing off, copyright, patent, trade secrets, advisory and contentious data privacy, entertainment and media, advertising matters for well-known and diverse local and international client base

Requirements

• A Hong Kong qualified lawyer with 3 -5 years of relevant IP commercial and/or IP litigation experience (preferably trained from an IP firm).  Candidates of less PQE with experience in handling and managing relevant work independently may also be considered
• Excellent level of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese, and preferably Putonghua)
• A motivated, proactive individual who is willing to learn, contribute as a team player, and has good interpersonal skills, management skills, ability to build and maintain client relationships
