Corporate Commercial Lawyer

We are currently looking for an Associate/Registered Foreign Lawyer to join our Corporate Commercial Group in Hong Kong which will provide you with the opportunity to work in a thriving and supportive workplace.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to a well-recognised Partner in the area of employment law, as a Corporate Commercial Lawyer, you will be part of a market leading group with colleagues from diversified academic backgrounds and life experiences. This exciting opportunity also allows you to work on your own initiative and build up a promising career.  Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Liaise with clients in different industries including Chinese-funded enterprises and multinational corporations
• Gain hands-on experience in various areas including the cross-border employment in PRC and HK, immigration and general corporate commercial related matters

Requirements:

• Strong passion in the fields of cross-border employment, immigration and general corporate related matters (both PRC and Hong Kong)
• Solicitors with 2 years’ post qualification experience from both Hong Kong and overseas jurisdictions.  Relevant experience in employment, immigration or general corporate related matters or HR is a strong plus
• Fluent in Mandarin and English, Cantonese is advantageous but not essential
• Proactive, ability to work under pressure with can-do attitude
• Excellent communication skills with high emotional intelligence, willing to deal with people of different backgrounds
• High commitment to work and a long-term career development within the firm
