Billing Executive – Intellectual Property

Responsibilities

As a Billing Executive, you will work as part of a team of lawyers and executives with extensive industry experience collaboratively to perform all duties of administrative nature.  Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare and draft bills for lawyers’ approval, finalise and send approved bills to clients for payments, and revise issued bills and revert as instructed
  • Maintain all data and matter files properly on Accounting and Case Management systems
  • Prepare reports to present useful data for analysis
  • Ensure a robust audit trail is maintained

Requirements

  • Degree holders
  • Preferably 4 – 6 years of relevant experience in an account support role in a professional environment  (candidates with less experience but have clear administrative career objectives will also be considered)
  • Relevant experience with accounting and e-billing systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word and Excel) and Chinese Word Processing
  • Good command of spoken / written English and Chinese
  • Attention to detail, organised and self-motivated
  • An ability to exercise discretion and independent judgement with integrity
  • Willingness to learn and be proactive
  • Willingness to work overtime
  • Experience in China Trade Mark is an added advantage
