Responsibilities

As an Associate, you will work closely with a team of lawyers and executives with extensive industry experience, engaging in banking and finance work.  Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Advising banks, financial institutions, and large corporations on all aspects of a broad range of domestic and cross-border financing transactions. This includes bilateral and syndicated loans, real estate finance, M&A and privatisation finance and green and sustainable finance
• Advising banks, financial institutions and FinTech companies on compliance with banking and financial services law and regulations

Requirements

• Solicitors from Hong Kong or overseas jurisdictions with 4 to 8 years’ post qualification experience
• Solid knowledge and understanding about the banking & finance services
• Proven track record in handling complex banking & finance matters
• A motivated, proactive and dynamic individual who has strong ability to build and maintain a trusting client relationship
• Ability to work well both individually and in a team setting with strong communication skills and a high level of commercial awareness
• Excellent level of both written and spoken English and Chinese.  Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
